Does 'Maybe This Time (Liza Minelli)' count as a contemporary song?

Question:I want to use it at an audition asking for a contemporary song but am a bit confused as to what is defined as contemporary in audition song terms. Does it have to be from last 5 years or just modern style?

Definitely it was written for the film Cabaret, which was 1972ish I think. In addition it has a contemporary sound to it.
