What is your screenplay about?

Question:Greg and I are working on one about a debate club rivalry.

It is about a dog - beagle - that was raised in a very very up tight conservative upper class white family - you know the real country club type-

well out on an outing to a dog show where he no doubt was a shoe in to win... he is some how separated from his family and runs away...

he is later caught and sent to the pound where you can imagine what happens to him there

he is then adopted by this nice southern baptist black family that lives in the south...

It is then all about the internal dialog that would take place in his mind as he adjusted to such a drastic change...

- Every one is laying around on the couch watching sponge bob square pants and smoking pot... on election day.
the dog is frantically pacing back and forth by the door with the this thought....

" oh my god i can not believe that you would actually watch a sponge then take part in the great democratic process my friend what is wrong with you.... don't blow that over here you right wing hippie....

That goes on and on until one day they save his life and he then realizes that they love him and took him in and cared for him when no one else did and that is worth his respect

so he starts to try to compromise and see things there way... although he still refuses to eat the pickled pigs feet, and or chitterlings UGH!!!
