If you have a local music store you might start but going there and asking if anyone who works there teaches lessons. People that work at music stores typically have experience in playing because they often have to repair or deal with their products all of the time. If you want to learn, you can also self teach yourself but it's very hard if you don't know how to properly read sheet music. I would start by seeing if someone can teach you or if you go to school you could always talk with the band director.

I have played clarinet since I was in 7th grade, and I'm 21 now. If I hadn't learned how to play it with the help of an experienced person, I probably wouldn't know how to read sheet music or care for my instrument, and probably would have given up completely had I done it self-taught.

You blow in one end and move your fingers up and down the holes.
