Is it good to start an acting career in Sacramento?

Question:Hi,I mught be moving to California from Southern IL.Is sacramento a good place if i want to further my acting career?I heard its not too far away from LA.Do you think its a good place?how is it like there?

Sacramento is about 400 miles from LA, and about an hour's flight.

While some companies do filming in Sacramento, if you're interested in film or TV, you won't get many opportunities there.
