Well if u adition dont get too nervous. Say the lines to some of u friends and that will help u loose ur nervousenes. And dont get so depressed if u dont get a part there are alot more shows u can addition for. Good Luck

Just calm down and be urself i bet ull get it

i am into acting too. practice what you are going to do so you feel completely comfortable. be yourself. i recommend you read the secret its a really good book and helps a lot like for real. go tanning it helps i swear =) jaja good luck

Speak clearly, don't cough, don't cover your mouth when you smile. Keep eye contact with the 'audience' (usually the people you're auditioning for), listen carefully to instructions, and if you mess up, DON'T APOLOGIZE, just keep running lines like nothing happened. Or take a deep breath and start over, but don't get embarrassed or apologize, because it shows lack of confidence.

This is a fact that will help you in all of your life if you can understand it.
When you are comfortable and relaxed, other people will be comfortable and relaxed.
When you are nervous, other people will be nervous!
It is really that simple
Good luck!

Don't overdo the make-up. It'll look like you're trying to look good. Don't go to a tanning bed first unless you know how long to lay in there, or you'll get burned and look kinda dumb. That's all I can think of, hope it'll help. good luck!

drake and josh.... thats so raven.... you got served actually thats not for you but try this search on youtube type you got served or stomp the yard... it's fun u should try it...

lol dont act all un you act yourself go to bed real early so your active and dont act like you are going to lose because you aren't your going to win

Be yourself is right, and be confident! Have fun at the audition, try new things, and don't be afraid to make an idiot of yourself, just be confident in doing so. In front of the camera is hard, it adds a whole other level to what you are trying to do, but I'm sure you'll do well. Just be sure to stay in the shot, smile at the camera, and pretend the camera isn't a lens, but maybe one of your best friends. I'm sure you know the bit about being prepared and practiced! Goood luck and congrats on the audition, so many girls would kill to be you right now!

i am 11 years old and I've been in a movie only once as a back round. the only tip i have might not be of use that much but ....try and act like your hanging out with you friends in real life situations. also try and listen as closely as possible to wat the guy or girl is telling u and if you dnt understand something tell them emediately .........they should explain it to u so you'll understand more. =D

Have they asked you to prepare anything for the audition? Do you know what character you're up for?

Usually for film auditions, they have you read from the script. It's quite possible that they will film the audition. If so, here are some things to do and/or think about...

* Slate your name... meaning that before you begin your audition, you look directly into the camera and state your full name slowly and clearly. They may ask you to also state the character you're reading for.

* Take a moment, and then begin your audition piece.

* For the actual audition part, unless they specifically ask you to, don't look into the camera. Act as if the other character(s) is/are right next to the camera (unless someone is actually acting the scene with you - then you just treat it as a normal scene.)

*If your audition is being filmed, it doesn't hurt to ask how tight the shot is - that way, if it's a fairly tight shot (meaning they have a close up of you) then you don't want to move around much, because then you'd be in and out of the frame.

*If you have any questions about the script, a word you don't know, can't pronounce, want to know more about the character, etc. - don't hesitate to ask before you begin your audition.

*You should bring your headshot and resume and if you keep a calender or planner, you might want to bring that too, just in case you need to let them know if you have any conflicts with the dates they plan to shoot.

*Don't be surprised if they ask you to do your audition again and ask you to make some changes to it. It doesn't mean that you did anything wrong, they may want to see if you can take direction or can act like another character they have in mind for you.

*Try to relax and have fun with it. Remember, they're hoping you're the actor for the part - they really are. They want you to do a good job. And they want to hire you. They want to cast the role just as much as you want to be cast. Sometimes as actors we let ourselves get so nervous that we forget to just have fun and that they're hoping to find the right actor.

*Even if you don't get cast - it truly doesn't mean you did a bad job or that anything was wrong with you or your audition. Sometimes we just don't fit any of the roles. I got to sit in on an audition once and the best actor that came in didn't get cast - obviously it wasn't because he wasn't talented or good - it was just because he wasn't right for that particular project.

*So, don't be hard on yourself and never place too much importance on any one audition.

Have a great audition! Let us know how it goes!
