Position:Home>Theater & Acting> What does 'sound optic' mean?

Question:I'd need more information to figure out what you mean by that phrase as it is used in context. The closest thing I can think of would be optical digital audio - a way to transfer sound from one device to another digitally (such as from a CD player to a mixing board).

Optical digital audio uses what are called "lightpipe" cables- thin wires with glowing LEDs at each end that transmit audio data using either the S/PDIF or ADAT protocol.
