Emerson Audition: Why is it Two Hours?!?

Question:I have an audition for the acting major at emerson college. has anyone ever done this? can you tell me why we have to stay for 2 hours? shouldn't the audition take less than 10 minutes? Does that mean there are group activities or something like that? thanks for the help :)

Just because it asks you to stay for two hours, doesn't necessarily mean it will take that long. They ask that you should be "prepared" to stay for 2 hours in case your audition is at the end. There might be some group activities and talks, especially since it's for college entrance.

Usually auditions include group activities, group auditions, and talks about commitment. Good luck.
