What can i expect from Avenue Q?

Question:i recently have been offered tickets to go see Avenue Q, and was not really sure if it would be my thing. i was wondering if someone could tell me what kind of humor it is, what it's like, and what to expect from the show? thanks!

It's raunchy, politically incorrect, and totally speaks the truth. It's great! It's really funny, and it deals with touchy issues with humor. It's very blunt humor..I don't know how else to explain it. But it's really funny! And if the tickets are free..just go, you have nothing to lose! Youtube it.

Make sure that you are comfortable with the person you are going to go with. The humor can get raunchy - but it's done in a very laughable way. They touch on topics (from a funny angle) like pornography, sex, homosexuality, and racism. It is absolutely wonderful and hysterical... I loved it and would jump at the chance to see it again. I'm sure if you'd listen to the soundtrack, you'd get a MUCH better idea of whether or not you'd enjoy the show.

its full of puppets and thier pupeteasrs!!

Avenue Q is a show on broadway that has puppets. And they sing. It's really weird. But, I don't know what kind of shows you enjoy, so, the decision of how you like it is up to you.
