Question:Let's have some mid-week fun with a pretend audition for a pretend movie role!!

The best "audition" will win the LEAD role!! (and the 10 pts.)

Let's say, the role is for an action hero who must time travel to save the world. He or She will visit Elizabethan Times, Victorian Times, Present Day, and the Future. Let your imagination fill out the rest.

The role is open to either gender and all ages. Union and Non-Union.

How to audition:
List your Age and Age Range:
Height:
Body Type:

Eyes:
Previous Experience (for safety sake just list whether it was school, community, or professional experience - not the actual name of the theatre or school.):

And finally...
Why you think you would be good for this role?

Break a Leg! Have Fun!!

This is silly, but fun... why the hell not?! Can I add this to my resume if I get cast?

List your Age and Age Range:
I am over 18 (I no longer tell my real age - lol)
16 - 32 (though I've recently played 15 - 45)

Height: 5'4

Body Type: slim/athletic

Hair: long, wavy/curly, dark brunette

Eyes: grey-green

Previous Experience:
Dozens of professional productions including several classical and Shakespearean plays, Victorian melodrama, musicals, children's theatre, and contemporary shows. I have also done national tv as well as independent film, webseries, and multi-media.

Why you think you would be good for this role?
I would be a good choice for an action film, since I have years of experience as a fighter and fight choreographer and have done stunts for film and television. I am trained in several weapons and styles of fighting. I feel very comfortable and confident doing period pieces - having been in my fair share of both Elizabethan and Victorian productions. As silly as it sounds, I wear costumes well and can look like I belong in them and in the period (I've seen so many actors who just can't play period.) I have also been in a sci-fi film and I just love that genre, so a time-traveling adventure just sounds like it would be a natural fit for me. And I have a deep interest in history.

Other skills I have which may come in handy: stage combat, horseback riding, accents (have performed: British RP, Scottish, Irish, French, American Southern, and Polish), I have had Victorian elocution lessons, court dancing, singing, dancing (ballroom, jazz, tap, tango), figure skating, and I play saxophone and recorder

Wow, the more I think about it - the more I wish I really could audition for such a role!!

Zzzzzzzzzzzz... what?

Too bad this isn't a real life fun one. :) I HEART ACTING.

How to audition: Well first I would walk into the audition room with a smile on my face. I would slate my name...Hi! I'm Kimberly! And I'm represented by The Talent Agency. (Not saying name for safety.) Then if they did not have a script or monologue for me to cold read, I would have 2 monologues prepared. I would do my best one first. Tell them I have another. And then if they ask to see it, I will gladly do it for them. At the end, I will thank them and shake each persons hand.
List your Age and Age Range: 16 & 13-17
Height: 5'6"
Body Type: Average-Athletic
Hair: Dark Brown, Longer Than Shoulder length, Wavy.
Eyes: Large & Blue.
Previous Experience: Acting classes with the Scouting Agency, 2 School Plays (Happy in Snow White & Tiny Tim in Scrooge).
Why you think you would be good for this role? I think I would bring a great energy to the role and set. I would always be in a good mood, no matter what. Because acting is what I love & what I do. It's who I am. I would do anything for a role, period. I'm not a morning person. But I would be at set at 4 am with coffee and doughnuts while I go over my lines.

Thanks! *Shakes Hand* :)

oooo fun!!
