experience

Your fear will always be there. It is the nervous energy that comes for performing in front of an audience.

Just take it from a former person with stage fright. Get into the song and don't worry about who else is around. Think about you singing in the mirror or that it's just you in the room. It helps me calm down.

have fun with it and practice. sing out and loud and eventually youll have enough fun to not care what people think

dont look at the audience look above thier heads conentrate on sometihng else once you start singign you'll get into it and the rest of it wont matter. it helps for me to not ee my family in the audience i dont know why but its harder for me to be serious. ill start smiling uncontrolably and thts not good when your beign serious. it also helps me whne the lights are out and im nto singing directly to people but dont concentrate on the peoepl pretend you are at rehersal

Experience. practice practice practice. be confident!! the more you sing in front of people, the less nervous you will be. break a leg!!
