Actors strike?

Question:I've read an interview w/ Jessica Alba on the Superhero Hype website, and she mentioned that there's an actors strike that's pending. Is this true or an overstatement...like her acting.

It is indeed a fact, that the actors (SAG:Screen Actors Guild) contract is coming up for renewal in June.
Right now there is a strike, as you probably are well aware, regarding the (screen) writers.
The end results of the writers strike will determine the position of SAG, and may have an effect on whether the pending strike by SAG is pre-empted or not by the AMPTP(Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers)
