Even years before the Lord of the Rings movies came out, people told me that I look like Liv Tyler. When people first started telling me this, I didn't know who she was, so I looked her up on line... this was back when I just had dial-up. When the picture of her started to load, I remember feeling oddly startled by it, because immediately as it began to load top to bottom, I could see the resemblance.

When LOTR came out, I just got it more and more - especially because my hair is long, dark, and wavy. Friends were startled seeing the commercials for the film, wondering if it was me in it (as I am an actor). Even my own Mom brought home a poster with Arwen, because it looked so much like me. My best friend kept hitting me in the leg everytime Arwen appeared on screen, when we went to see the movie. Another friend teased me when there was an Arwen poster hanging in a store window and said I should go over and sign autographs.

I do see the resemblance... and I wish I were taller, because I would be a really good stand-in for Liv Tyler. We could very well play sisters.

Other than Liv, there are times where I have looked at pictures of myself and thought I really looked quite a bit like Lisa Edelstein (Dr. Cuddy from House, M.D.) Oddly enough, she doesn't look anything like Liv Tyler. *Shrug*

Drew Barrymore. People used to call me Drew in high school. I don't think it's that much of a resemblance but enough for people to comment I guess.
