Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Double tragedy? 10 points?

Question:Please help. I need to know what double tragedy is? Especially how it is used in the story "Antigone" by Sophocles. Also, who is the tragic hero of the story? I'm confused whether Creon or Antigone. Because Creon is the one who faces tragic flaw and then reconcilliation afterwards.

this is not for homework as you guys will assume. I have a poetry unit exam in 2 hours and i need to know this!

Never heard of double tragedy. Since a tragedy is a sacrificial rite, I would assume that there are two sacrifices in a double tragedy, not necessarily deaths, but loss of status or something valuable as well. Characters do not face tragic flaws, they have them, personality traits that propell them to their destinys.
