I use a trumpet lol. It sounds pretty good in the brass band that I play in. Unfortunately it sometimes hurts my lips when I have to do things like the highest E possible (only just audible) lol.

i play it in music class on a recorder

you could use a piano or keyboard to get a very similar sound but it could be transcribed to be played on any instrument, i would personally use a guitar and do an acoustic version
