Position:Home>Theater & Acting> The main idea of romeo and juliet?Question:The main idea/theme of this story is__________________. ( the story/play is Romeo and Juliet) Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The main idea/theme of this story is__________________. ( the story/play is Romeo and Juliet) that love is worth dyeing for they found true love and were so in love that they would rather die then not be together ALSO about how WAR can tear people appart Boundaries being crossed, forbidden love ect\ love conkers all forbiden love love and war...two lovers, each one belonging in a rival family love will pwn you all if you love someone kill yourself..... dont kill yourself, cuz then you'll never find out what happens next... the theme is tragedy The cataclysm of pride, war, love, fate & circumstance . forbidden love How love can conquer ethical, religious and racial back rounds how far being from a different side of town can drive people to kill. The main idea of Romeo and Juliet is that people fight over and value shallow and meaningless concerns such as fame, wealth or status, when the serious issues in life are love, life and happiness. two people who are supposed to hate eachother because of family quarrels are madly in love Don't give up on life because you never know what will happen next. the tragedy of the lovers having to choose between each other and their families. they both prove too immature to make the choice and so kill themselves in stead. which is total bunk, because could you imagine after the honeymoon, remeo would find something wrong with juliete, then they would start fighting and then eventually get divorced. but, since they killed themseles, we will never know. That's a silly question. Your trying to simplify R+J to a sentence? Parental involvement in relationships = suicide. Love and its tragic ending as an unnecessary result of conflict. War and hate versus love The main idea of Romeo and Juliet actually has nothing to do with love really - its about the consquences of holding grudges. Because of the two families' undying and unjustifable hatred of each other (they don't even remember why they hate each other), two innocent lives were taken. |
