Question:future Singers

I’m just a girl in the world

My whole life, I’ve been wanting to sing

But, there’s just ONE thing!

How am I suppose to sing alone infront of a crowd?

Will they “boo” out loud?

Try picturing yourself on stage at night

Does the audience know you have stage fright?

This is the kind of position I am in, a girl waiting for a future career to begin

Music is my everyday, I jot down what my lips can’t say

I give this poem to those who are longing to become great future vocalists just like me

But heed my words, you never know if that dream will ever be

All I will say is: starting now, try to write songs

Who knows? You ‘re heart might not have to wait very long

I come from the school in which poems don't have errors. You are the poet so you get to define what's right.

I loved your poem....a great writer once called your kind of urge as 'life longing for itself'. All my life I felt like I had something simple beautiful and creative that wanted to come out. So your poem struck that tune in me...remembering my life's longing to express itself...to give something beautiful to the world. Your poem in and of itself is already a gift....it helps others rise above the agony of waiting and wondering and hoping and fearing. Thanks for risking to share your feelings as good in a poem as in a song on stage!.....even if its only for da school newspapa!

nice! I like it!
btw... I totally feel the same way, lol
