First of all, I suggest doing some acting classes, in and out of school...drama classes help alot, you learn about all different types of acting, and you have a professional teacher giving you contructive critism, and idea's that will make you a better actor. I also suggest if you like the whole "triple threat" thing..and anyway it would work in your advantage, to take some singing lessons..and dance lessons..I recommend jazz as it is very theatrical or ballet as it is the foundation of dance and helps you posture, flexability and strenght. Some schools even offer "Musical Theatre Courses" where you do acting for 45 mins, singing for 45 mins and dancing for the rest..the classes usually go for about 2 hours once or twice a bit.

For experience, try out for school plays..and community theatre. Community Theatre looks great on a resume, and it helps not only improve your acting skills but your social and working skills as you are being thrown into this enviroment with people you don't know and you have to work with them...naturally by the end of it you are like a family (: It is also good to befriend actors outside of school as well..older or younger each and everyone of them can share acting tips with you that you may have not known other wise.

Once you feel confident, get an agent..an agent will help you get auditions..get castings for commercials...tv shows..movies..theatre..voice overs etc. Research some legit agencies. Make sure you research everything! Even ways about how to travel to and from the agency when you need to meet, when your parents are unavailable to take you. (although i strongly suggest..or i insist that you make sure your parents take you to the first few meetings so you get a feel for the place, and they can sort out contracts etc and they know what type of people you will be seeing etc) Sit down with your parents and discuss how you want to pursue acting, and show them your research they will be proud of your research and see how responisble and serious you are about it.Auditioning for an agent usually consists of an interview, and performing one or two monologues.
Once you get an agent..(which may take a bit..but don't give up...just keep on trying) they will help you find auditions for things like commercials etc etc and you can work your way up from there..

Here is some good monologue sites for you as well..as you always need some prepared for last minute auditions etc and you can also use these to practise..

In the mirror! Honestly ! You can be your best critic ~ but my best advice is : Practice Practice Practice!...and be sure of Your Dream!

You start right where you are. be in all the speech and drama stuff at school, be in chorus, take singing lessons, experience un stage frights you.

Alright the most important thing to do is to PRACTICE. Practice makes perfect!!! If you don't like to sing in front of people then sing alone in your room , and remember that you also want to be an actress so practice acting too!!!
I also want to be an actor and i am practicing everyday!!! It is very important!!! Good Luck!!!
