Question:I really want to enter this contest, but I do not have the right camcorder. I was going to go to the casting call in ATL, but do to weather, I could not go. It also had to do with time. I have a camcorder, but it's old and a vhs camcorder. Where can I borrow one? I have no friends or family that would have one. And how do you put the video on my laptop? I am an actor, and have been dreaming of just getting an extra part on a T.V. show, something like OTH. Can the VHS camcorder, download on my laptop. I have a built in web cam, can this work? I can tape myself, but I really do not know how to use it. I just use it for Skype, Yahoo, AIM... Someone suggested a device, but is $75. Thanks for your help!

Yes, you can record video cassettes to the computer using a TV Tuner. It works the same way as you would if you wanted to record live TV to the computer.
