How do you get into a Harry Potter film?

Question:I want to be an extra in a Harry Potter film. Just a Hogwarts student, nothing big. Do you HAVE to be from the UK, if you don't have a speaking role??????

First both answers so far are incorrect. The first answer gives you an address for casting of Prisoner of Azkaban, which is the third HP movie and was filmed years ago. Second says that they are done filming all the movies and are working on the last one which is incorrect. They are currently filming Half Blood Prince which is the sixth one, and have not casted for Deathly Hallows yet. However, it is true that you have to be from the UK to even have a background role. I have done alot of research on it because I desperately wanted a role. You would have to move to the UK and establish residency, and get a license number to work in the UK, which would take alot of work because it's very hard to get approved to be able to work in the UK, and I'm not even sure if you could do that by the time they will be casting for the last movie. I was very determined to do this as well but I realized it was a lost cause. It's not fair because British actors come to America and get roles all the time! I think that they should have given American kids a chance to be in the films as well, ecspecially for non speaking parts.
