How should I end this script?

Question:i have to write a script for a class at school. i was wondering how to end it.

it pretty much goes two ppl steal an ipod, they get away. they come back to apoligize and the officer let's them off with community service. whats a good ending line for it?

Maybe someone could say...like the authority figure..
or even a parent of the two people...could say..
"Maybe you'll think twice before stealing someone's iPod"
or substiture the word iPod..for things..or possesions..whatever you want.

Even another ending line..could be something like..
"If you weren't so stupid to steal somebody's iPod you wouldn't have to clean all this up.." or put in whatever there doing for community service.

The police don't have the power to decide community service. Rework that first.
