Keep your eyes on the director, or whoever is in charge. Listen intently, and follow direction IMMEDIATLY and with a confident smile. A director wants to know they can count on you to do what is needed for the role you receive. Be mindful of your body language...do not cross your arms, put your shoulders back, and hold your head high. Break a leg!!

Assuming that you are good at all the things you are auditioning for and need help only in standing out I'd say
be very confident, let it show on your face with good expressions(dancing and acting),be very clear and audible(singing and acting),show emotions and feelings in the songs you sing.Yeah i guess that is all i would see if i would be judging..think positive and be optimistic you 'll get selected..good luck :)

When I received the role as Peter Pan the director told me I stood out because I'd already become that character on stage. Pick the character you really want and be that character through the whole audition.
