Does voice acting pay well or do you have to become somewhat famous?

Question:I have a rather unique voice and I'm pretty good at reading scripting. People who have heard me read aloud tell me I should be an actor. Anyone know if voice acting pays decently?

Voice 'acting' as a rule pays very well and is comprised of a relatively small group of people who get the work. It is a difficult circle to break into. Having a unique voice is obviously an asset. It is like everything else in the business however: you need to get yourself out there and get noticed. Representation helps if you can get yourself someone who knows the business and really works hard on your behalf. All the best luck to you!

it depends who you work for and what shows you do and how many and how good you are. it can pay well but it can be ahrd to find a job that pays

you need to find a agent and tell them that your good doing
voice overs and see what happens.
