Question:naturalistic acting is when your acting is made up (fiction) and realistic is when it is real (non fiction)

They are basically the same thing. Both are based on the ideas of method acting that evolved from the Russian theatre teacher Stanislavsky in which actors do not just get inside a character's mind, but they also draw on personal experiences to make the situation seem more real. This is called sense memory. The idea is to take performance out of the surrealist or even idealistic and make it seem real and of course natural.

This is a pretty decent site about method acting that will give you some ideas of where these ideas of realistic and naturalistic acting evolved from. http://www.theatrgroup.com/Method/
