Movie Star, please please help me?

Question:I really really want to be in a movie. I love to act and really want to pretend to be someone else. I have been acting for as long as I can remember and I really want to crank it up a knoch. My mom is willing to help my accomplish my dream, but she said I need to figure out how to get there first. If anyone knows of anything to help me please tell me. Where is an agensy, or audition close to Boston. I am 13. Please help.

(This is a Boston University Graduate Film Production seeking a teen girl (14-16) to play the lead in their film. Even if you don't fit this role, you may want to write to them because if the film is taking place at a high school there may be other roles you could play - or at least be an extra.)

advise you to get experience first.
Do school plays or at a community theatre. Take acting classes too. So what I’m saying is get lots of experience. Then you have to get a good headshot which is like $250+.

( some agencies around you area might not require professional headshots to begin with cuz thats with the one near me )

Look up talent agencies in your area and start from there. Hope that helped.

You can visit maine.craiglist.org and pick the state(or country) that your in and there should be a list of acting jobs you can do

You also need your parents 24/7/365 so tell them about your dream. You need their consent ( I see you already have that covered)

First of all, look for a talent agent in your area. OR move to a big area like New York or Los Angeles. Even the Baltimore area the film industry has grown there. After that go to classes, read books, just keep working on your talent. ALso, build up your resume. Or, if you haven't yet, MAKE a resume. Keep acting in local productions and keep doing whatever you can. It is an ambitous career *one I am working on as well* I strongly recomend reading the books by Tom Logan. I find those most helpful.
