I want to become an actress so how to I start!?

Question:I'm 12 and i've always wanted to become an actress I'm going to take Drama next year for 7th grade and I don't know how! to start! Help! If you have some websites give me them!

no - modeing is always an alternative and more carrer opportunities besides becoming a performer. I would seriosuly reccomend to start taking singing, dance, and acting lessons. You will learn how to use all of these in performing - which at one time or another you will be asked to use more than one!

I would then start to get into local theaters and drama clubs at school and start performing! If you're school offers a drama or choir class - take it!!! All of these two things should last you up to college to where you should have a full resume!

Then major in acting, musical theatre etc. I would reccomend another major or minor as in you will need another job in betweeen acting jobs/auditions!

The best way to start is to get your feet wet while you are still in school and take it with you all the way through college. Get some good roles under your belt so that you can build your resume and have something to show at auditions when you get ready to hit the big time. Break a leg.

Isaac is close, but it is not that simple. You are starting the right way, do everything speech and drama in school, especially be in all the plays. There are no websites that will really help you. It takes years to become an actress, are you ready to spend that amount of time and give up all that you will have to give up to do it? Finally, if you are going to do anything before you are 18 your parents are going to have to be very actively involved in furthering your career, because minors cannot sign contracts.
