Female audition songs for les miserables?

Question:im trying out for cosette in les mis for my school musical, and i need a good song to show off my alto vocal range (id ont know if cosette is alto, but still) and it needs to be easy to learn because this is a last minute decision and the audition is tomorrow!!! help!!

Do NOT sing On My Own. You should NEVER sing something from the show you are auditioning for. Not only will everyone do it, but it also shows a lack of professionalism and it will be hard for them to cast you in another part if you do not get the one that sings that song.

Do something by the same composer's like Movie in My Mind from Miss Saigon.

I think Cosette was a soprano - try Eponine instead. Her song 'On My Own' from Les Mis is one of the best known from that play. You can download it or probably watch it on youtube.
