The larger cities like Los Angeles and New York will insist you sign as an exclusive meaning you can only have one agent represent you. Unless you are in acting and then you can have one for theatrical( film and TV), one for commercials, and so so on.

In right to work states which currently are Alabama, Arizona
Arkansas, Florida , Georgia, Idaho,Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma ,South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee,Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming you can be listed with as many agents that want you.

The only problem of course with the right to work states is you may be submitted through more then one agent for the same project and then will have to decide which one you are going to have represent you. Obviously this will make the rest angry and they will not submit you again.

So your best bet is to find one agent that you really believe will go to bat for you and that you feel ready to go to bat for as well. Make that one relationship work and you are good to go.

usally you can only have 1 agent if you have more than one it can really cause trouble in career agents don't like when people have numerous agencys

Well, I think u should only have one agent at a time because I don't think agents like that they aren't your only choice so having more than one might make you lose both of them.

Never sign with more than 1 at a time. No one will take you seriously in the business if you have more than one agent.
