How to become a Disney star?

Question:If you want to become a Disney Channel actor/actress, how do you do it. I live in Pittsburgh, PA. How do you audition or even get noticed? Any advice or websites I can visit? Thanks for the help.

I worked for Disney World and it is not easy. You and your friends may just have more fun and a lot better chance getting a start there.

First they have auditions in a lot of places in the country for disney world, disney land and the cruise lines. You will want to be a good dancer! even if you just get tapes that teach you little by little. It helps to be a good singer.

The #1 rule for the audition tho is to keep smiling! even if you mess up. They want to see you never stop smiling and being up beat!

They will teach you a dance then ask you to do an animation like "you just met your fav character" but you cant talk. they practice with you and 100 others for a bit and then they call you back into the room 4 at a time. You do the dance, the animation then the dance again then the animation again.

if you work for them for a bit you can find other opportunities to move up and now you have experience. The best part is that you can do this with your friends a lot easier than trying to be famous together.

As for getting on the disney channel in another way. The only way I know it to get an agent and tell them thats what you want to do. You will definitely need to be well rounded then, cuz disney will look for dancing, voice, and acting.

You have to move to California. That is the only place to audition and get notticed by DIsney. It is suckish.

Try posting some videos of yourself acting or singing on You Tube. It is unlikley, but some people have gotten discovered there.

You get to be a disney star by being related to someone famous or by having your parents bust their butts to get you experience, training, and an agent. and you have to live in LA . No website can help you as they are for experienced professionals.

to do that you have to have the right connections, a lot of talent, an agent, and parents who are fully supportive and willing to do anything to help you get a part. I know it looks easy and like a lot of fun but it really isn't. It takes a lot of hard work, even to be an extra or have a walk on role. There are no websites. If you really want to do it then go for it. I have a friend who is amazingly talented. she is a great singer and actress. She's been in the process of auditioning for disney channel and other tv for a little over a year now, I haven't heard or seen anything of her getting a role yet. Even kids with great talent don't always make it. If you really like acting I'd start with your local theaters and start working from there.

miley cyrus did 1 professional job before booking hannah montana and that was on her DAD's show!
she emailed an audtion tape to disney and then ya know the story.

so just like tape yourself acting and send a headshot and resume to disney, abc and whoever else.
