What should I wear for my audition?

Question:I have a audition tomorrow and I do not know what to wear. I am auditioning for a singing role if that helps any.

Never dress as the part you want to play. Keep your hair out of your face and wear something that brings out the best of your body. When in doubt, wear black. Someone said red. Red brings out any facial blemishes. Greens and neutrals are good. Give yourself dramatic eyes and wear lip gloss that suits you. And be a little out there. Not crazy, just different. Different is what gets you noticed. If you're not auditioning with a new troupe (aka they know you) it really doesn't matter what you wear. Unless you know you'll have to fight to get a role. Just be comfortable. We all want to look good bu being comfortable and easy going is the best way.

It appears you are female. Wear something comfortable, casual, and modest. Have fun, and break a leg!

Generally when I audition I just wear whatever is comfortable.
