omg, who cares?

They are being racist if they don't except you because of ur skin color.

Besides, you are very lucky. Black people have some of the best skin in the world and it ages better.

Ever heard the saying, black don't crack?
It's true, your skin color is a blessing.

:)

U TUBE, try it some day for fifth-teen minutes and then wait for the T.V. to light up with your pretty face in the middle.

Then approach it from a different angle. Whoopi Goldberg got into acting through comedy and proved herself one of the few actresses who were great at both comedy and drama. Develop your skills, show off your talents, follow your dream. It's a tough one, but if you don't at least try you'll always ask yourself, "What if?" If no agency takes you do what actors and actresses have always done, work in other fields until their big break.

If your a good actor than who cares about color. :)

If you're trying to get into theater, I wouldn't worry about it. About 60% of theater actors are black.

If you're trying to get into film and television, I would first prove myself as an accomplished and intelligent person, so that an agency can see past your skin color to your talent.

Good luck!

When I was in graduate school, one of my teachers was the then president of Actor's Equity Association (the stage actor's union), a black actor named Fredrick O'Neal, I will never forget him telling us the story of when he told his father that he wanted to be an actor. Mr. O'Neal said, "My father said, 'All right. But if you don't make it, if will not be because you are black. It will be because you are not good enough.'"

Theater and film are perhaps the most color blind of all industries. So, sorry, you can't play the race card here. If you don't make it, it is because you are not good enough.
