Finished my script - Now what?

Question:Ok..I finished my script - Now I need to know what my steps are for production .... I want to shoot this summer and it shouldn't cost any more that about 5-10 thousand total for production cost....Please give me any steps I will need to endure to make this project happen .. also any tips on raising money etc. - - Thank you all !!

Technically it's illegal to raise money outside of asking 100 personal friends and family members.

There are grants available.

10K is cheap, sure you have that budgeted right?

These days you have to shoot in 1080p/24FPS minimum or super 16 at the least.

To edit from 1080p you'll need a fast computer with paid software.

Best would be to put it on removable Hard Drives so you can take them into a lab for transfer to 35mm film or HD mediums used by stations.
