Honestly, the best thing you can do is keep practicing that monologue. Practice it in the slow voice you want to use. Then when you get up there, take a couple slow, deep breaths, look just over your audience (so it still looks like you're looking at them without the pressure of ACTUALLY looking at them) and let all the practice flow out of you. If you mess up, or start speeding, take an in-character moment to breathe or regroup. No matter what your character, there's ways to pause and cover up a brief panic.

And finally, remember, everyone in there is rooting FOR you, so have fun and don't worry about messing up.

I completely agree with the person before me. Just breath slow. Be calm act as the character and not you. Practice a lot and don't worry about it. Everyone has to do the same thing so you aren't alone. You'll do fine. Wish you all the best!
