I am only 12 and i have a BIG DREAM and i wanna become a singer but how do i get

Question:Sing at church, Sing in a chior at school. I have the same dream. I am a little bit older but not much. This Christmas I am planning on Making a CD of myself sining Christmas songs solo and selling them. I sing at church and I get noticed. I go to competions in 4-H and I sing at talent shows. I also put on mini conserts for my friends. Now, If you have nerve problems, just practis and think Positive. Thinking Postive can be the diferance between doing well or making a fool of you self. Breathing deeply helps to. Fallow your dream and never give up no matter what you do. Also, You can try Americon Idol when you turn 16, but I hear it is hard as heck to even get in and adition. good luck to you and have fun!

I recently read an article about a girl your age that is about to go big time. She got her start by going out and doing kareoke. She then built that up by singing at fairs and festivals. Lo and behold she got noticed and has signed a record deal. Good luck.

You could start by getting a singing coach, practice, and then record them onto a cd, and send them to record lables?

If not, you could join a band, and do a few gigs to get you noticed.

Go to an art or music school. Not only will you get training but you'll meet other people who are in your same industry and you'll start to network. Not only that, but sometimes scouts go to check out the schools.

everyone has "big" dreams ...but very much so when they are young at your age... best thing you can do is... Keep your feet on the ground in reality not many people ever achieve Their Dreams But it's Ok to dream about it ..thats what makes life worth living but dont live in a fantasy world all the time either.. if you want to be famous have your family take you to a small recording studio ..they are all over some run in peoples basements ...record a demo tape of a few cover songs that you would like to sing...then after you have a tape or a CD I guess the kids use today copy it and send it to small time record labels... not the big time like captial,sony,etc casue it would be a waste of your time to bother with the big wigs just yet.. send it to a small record label something from your own state and then if they like you they will sign you to a contract and your career will go from there you will need to get an agent and other things and then if you are really good your studio will either A: Sell your contract to a bigger studio or B: your contract will expire and you may have the oppertunity to sign with a bigger Record Comapny... like RCA or something or what ever the kids are into now adays ... let me guess are you going to do bubble gum pop? last thing the world needs is another Spears

try your best to be in the public eye, or the celebrity hot spots, that might get you noticed,or get a celeb to sign an autograph, then start doting them,so you can get to know them.

Many of these answers are great. You have to get experience singing...never turning down an opportunity to perform. Church, school, local community events, etc.

At some point you will have to make a recording to use to showcase your voice to get gigs, and send to record labels, etc. I help people get these recordings done.
