Seussical question??

Question:Well my school is putting on the musical, Seussical. I am one of the best singers in my grade, I have a strong voice and I am in choir and music ministry. I have taken singing lessons and acting lessons and dance since i was EXTREMLY young. Last year we tried out to be IN the musical and I made it. The director had to cut 50 people down to 30. I made it and tryouts for parts are next week. Everyone is telling me I should be the Sour Kangaroo or Gertrude. I want to try out for both, but if I dont get either parts, chances are I get a chorus part...Im pretty confident and stuff, but now I am a bit nervous.

Who should I try out for? What should I do??

If you are allowed to try out for both parts, I would do it. If you are as good as you say you are, I am sure that you will get one of the prime characters. Don't be cocky and over-confident, you will come across with a "holier than thou" attitude. Just get up there and do your thing and let them decide.

U HAVE AN AMAZING VOICE! im pretty sure that ur goin to get a main part. if u dont get those part there is always next year. but im like positive that ur goin 2 get a main part. i think u should try out 4 Gertrude and the Sour Kangaroo. like i am 99% THAT U R GOIN 2 GET A MAIN PART! lol. ive said that a lot

with a strong voice and a strong personality a would say Mayzie. She is a bigger role than the sour kangaroo and is stronger than gertude. I would say that or hte sour kangaroo. I would say that your chances are pretty good saying that you have had all that training good luck

DONT LISTEN TO DAVID!?!?!? you have an incredible voice. I was by you in choir and ur great at singing. I think u should try out sour kangaroo and gertrude. and just see wat u get a callback for. I think ull do great.
