Why cant the awards show go ahead ??

Question:Why dont the actors simply take on their toughest role yet and say we dont need no writers.......... we will adlib our way through the show. Now that would really sort out the useless from the great !!

They are part of the Screen Actors Guild, and they have to do what they say. When SAG boycotts, actors must comply.

because then they aren't supporting the writers... who make them stars...

they DO need the writers. without writers, there is no movie to ACT in. And besides, even if your not making money from it, they ARE way underpayed. But its kinda nnoying not to be able to have the golden globes this year ='[
