Question:For an English project, I need to know the history of Shakespeare's play Twelfth Night. I tried looking it up on my own, but i couldn't find anything!

Methinks it refers to the Twelfth Night of Christmas (as in the Carol the twelve days of Christmas) which was perhaps when the play was first presented at court for the entertainment of Elizabeth I.
