Unfortunately, any type of school show seems to bring out sickness in many performers. When I had the lead role in my school show in November, my male lead was sick that whole week but I managed to stay perfectly healthy (albeit with a tired voice by the end), so here's how I did it!

I'm going to assume you're singing - if you're not, please say so. Drink hot tea with honey and/or fresh brewed iced tea with lemon on a daily basis. On top of tea, ALWAYS have water with you. If you can, boil some water and breathe in steam. Just stay hydrated, but stay away from a lot of caffeine and don't drink dairy right before you sing (it's ok to drink, just not right before you sing).

If it's cold out, make sure you're warm enough and always wear a scarf (besides it being functional, it makes you look cool!). When you practice, properly warm up and DO NOT strain your voice. If your voice becomes tired or wears down, then you're not supporting properly from your diaphragm. When you sing, you should be working from the diaphragm but have your face and jaw be loose and easy. Any tension in the face is a bad.

To help your immune system, work out. It'll make you look better and feel better, too.

As far as nervousness goes, relax relax relax!!! Almost every performer gets nervous before a show, no matter how experienced, and everyone's body manifests that nervousness in different ways. For me, my stomach will hurt. For others, they'll start shaking. Do some breathing exercises to relax right before you go on. Tell yourself that no one elses' opinion matters and feel the song - because the only opinion that really matters is yours. And, most importantly, HAVE FUN!

Take Vitamin C and a multivitamin. Stay away from restaurants as you never know who is handling your food or if they are sick. Use hand sanitizer gel when you feel the need.
As for the nervousness--pratice your piece over and over and over again.

You will be fine.
