Go cruise around the links you see on this page link. You'll find places where you can look for different types of monologues as well as a method to memorize it and a list of common mistakes to avoid while performing it.

Tony

the opening scene of Trainspotting,

my mate did it
she got good marks lol

Do the Deb/Napoleon Dynamite scene where's she's trying to sell him those little plastic key chain thingys.

go to the library and get a monologue book. Most of these have VERY good monologues in them and separate the sexes. DON"T just grab something from Pop culture. That's the easy way out and Casting Directors hate this. Get somethng different and WORK IT until it's second nature. You will stand out in the crowd.

Pick a topic that you feel passionate about. Then gather data to support your stance and organize your thoughts into a speech (I doubt that the class will demand a monologue longer than 5 minutes).
-Pretend you're angry at your BF for announcing that the is gay
-Pretend that your father is threatening to cut off your inheritance
-Pretend that you are being stalked
-Pretend that you have been falsely accused of something

I'm sure you can come up with some other ideas!
