In that business less than 1% of them get to the top and out of them not many make it to the big time.
That's why.
It's a viscious trade full of incredible talent but talent isn't what is needed to make it to the top. Politics, savvy, contacts, expert agents, literally good breaks, harder than hard work, and the one role that makes or breaks you in the field is what is required to get to the top of the ladder. That and the fact that there is only so much room at the top.
Despite the talent, very few have what it takes to get to the top, they have a lot but not enough.
