yes, definitely in theater, never in movies or commercials though.

yes. If you want to be an actor you have to be prepared to reveal far more of yourself than you would imagine.

Take it and run with it. A very talented actor understands the meaning of emotional recall, or an analagous circumstance. This is the ability to release emotion in a way that may allow others who may be experiencing the exact same thing as you to relate to your character, and, in turn, perhaps even heal from it.

Acting is a medium for expression. It is a safe space in which we can create art through form. Use it to your advantage. Release these emotions behind the mask of your character and use it to heal the pain.
