Producers are usually looking for experienced voiceover talent/actors. So to break in, you usually have to get a foot up somewhere -- by taking voiceover classes with an agent or producer, by working for free for a while, or by sending out demo tapes and hoping that you'll get noticed by the right producer at the right time.

Check around your area for open bands who need singers.

Start a band.

Become a voice teacher.

Be in a musical.
