Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Musical Crisis!!!?

Question:so..i auditioned for Bye Bye Biridie with the hopes of getting either the role of Kim or Ursula. I thought i did good at my auditions, but I recieved the part of Nancy..who sings two lines in "The Telephone Hour". But I can't complain, considering I'm a freshman. However, the same day of one of our BBB performances is a prestigous musical competition, all-county. i have worked so hard to make it into all-county, practicing my solo for the adjuticator really hard. however i can't do both...what should i do???? please help! it would be much appreciated!!

You committed to BBB when you accepted the role. The professional thing is to live up to it. The prestigious musical competition, all county, will not seem so important in 20 years. But your reputation for keeping your committments will.
