Do you need some kind of portfolio for acting ??

Question:Do you need to build up some kind of portfolio for acting jobs to get started off with and if so how would you build it up. Would it help you with getting agents and jobs ?

Yeah we have a type of portfolio.
We call it a package.
The things that are put in it are like plays and other media you have done. And classes and trainging that you've gone to! It also has a headshot in it which is a nice picture of yourself.

The package is what the agents look at to decide if they want to represent you. This is what helps us get the agents as well as the jobs.

Yeah you need a portfolio but you have to also have to have a resume that says your work

Get GOOD head shots
LOOK your best
FIND auditions, get an agent
AUDITION
and that's all there is too it.
