Hamlet-revenge is not always sweet. Macbeth-Just as behind every good man is a grat woman, behind every evil man there is often an even more vile woman.

Most powerful characters-Hamlet is the most emotionally torured of his characters. Macbeth is one because he is so easily manipulated by Lady Macbeth.

Complexity-The battle between good and evil is always complex and both represent that.

Movies references-The movies are never as good as the plays.

1. Hamlet - Doesn't really know what he wants
2. Macbeth - Failed to learn the "trick of the oracle."

1. Hamlet is a man constantly divided in two: between filial duty, and innocence; between madness and sanity; between love and hate; between being a victim, and being a murderer.
