Are there any websites where young children can sign up for acting?

Question:Well i like to act but im to young to go on any TV shows! But are there ay websites where children 9 though 17 can sign up and win a contest or something? Please help me!

Unfortunately, there are no contests that will launch your career -- certainly not on any websites. If you're really interested in learning to act, try to find classes in your area. However, BEWARE of "modeling agencies" that charge you lots of money and make big promises. Find a legitimate childrens theatre (one that actually puts on productions) and sign up for classes (they all have to teach).

The people you'll meet there will be able to help you with finding opportunities to audition for plays, commercials, even TV and movies. That depends where you live.

It doesn't hurt to read lots of books in the meantime.
