Go to your local Library they will have phone numbers of all local amateur groups that stage Pantos and Musicals or Plays. One phone call will tell you when they are auditioning for next production. Good luck been doing it for 25 years myself can't get enough of it. lol

First you should consider joining an amateur dramatics group to give yourself the experience of learning lines and acting etc. Try the Little theatre in Gloucester or the one in Cheltenham. Forget the name of the Cheltenham one but I am sure that if you contact the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham they Will help you with your enquiries. I would have loved to gone into the theatre when I was young but it was not considered a very safe or proper job at the time. The emphasis was always on earning money. Wish you luck and though it could be hard try to stick with it.
