Good, your starting off with the basics like joining plays and trying hard.

You can't really wait around for someone to find you,

Put yourself out there!!

Make sure everyone See's you and the talent that you have!!

Aim for the leading roles!!

And if you don't get one....
WHO CARES!!

your still getting the experience.

So, your basically on the right track and that's good.

Just remember: Don't let anyone stop you.

PS: I don't think you would want to be Miley Cyrus when it comes to acting.... that girl couldn't act for anything.

Pretty much. Unless you happen to have a parent who is in the business it is pretty tough to create the kind of stardom that Miley has. I would venture to say though that if you want a "real acting career" that you do it because it is a hunger inside you. Not wanting to be like someone else. Performing is exceedingly rewarding, but you have to be doing it because you love it, not because you want to be famous. If you do it just to become famous you are more likely to end up as a train wreck--read up on B. Spears and L. Lohan. Its sad that these girls just didn't have the integrity to perform because they loved it.

Well, you wont get anywhere by sitting around and waiting to get 'discovered'. You have to go out there, get acting classes, get an agent, and go to auditions. If you cant do that then do local plays or school plays, many casting agents go to plays to find young, talented actors :)

you don't want to be like Miley Cyrus. she can't act to save her life. but her singing career, i can see you wanting to be like her. like the person before me, you can't just sit and hope to be disovered. practice. get an agent. get into a class. go to shows and introduce yourself to the actors and get advice and get connections in the business. BREAK A LEG!!
