Question:If your acting school does not teach you how to get work, it is a fraud and you have wasted your money. If you are good enough an actor to be a graduate, they ought to give you a showcase to agents and casting directors. If they do not do that, they are a fraud. What kind of fraud? You have to find an open casting call...

hire an agent, he/she would find *auditions* for you quicker than you could.

You would probably get an agent or you could go to open casting calls.

If you get an agent, they will tell you when there are certain auditions that you might be interested in. If you get an agent you are more likely to get appointments with producers for private auditions rather than waiting in a line with other people.

If you decide to go to open casting calls, it will probably be harder for you to get a role because you don't have someone backing you up.

Soaps are easier because you can buy your card off the street ($2,000 one payment, have it ready or you can't work) and they don't get fined. Mostly in NYC

An agent helps

You have to have a look. Either bad guy/tough guy or Brad Pitt/Tom Cruise cute.

They mostly cast pretty boys and hunks.
