No support?

Question:what should i do if my parents do not support me in my choice of career (Acting). my dad says that he doesn't want to bring me down is he trying not to loose me or what.(i heard him and my mother talking about how much i've grown )?

it sounds like they just don't want you to get hurt but they want to see you live out your dreams. you should just talk to them about it.

you should rely on yourself. and you should make everything by yourself.

You need to tell them that this is something you are really serious about. have a real conversation and bring up all the reasons why and why not it would not be a good choice and make a decsicion together. You should always try to go for your dream...but they are your parents..so they do have SOME say =D

don't let ANYONE tell you not to try for your dream. just make sure you have a backup plan if acting doesn't work but don't give up. ever.
