Question:You see, I'm 13 and I can do tons of voice impressions mostly from Anime (All of them are all dudes though)
My fellow classmates say that I should take one voice acting for cartoons for like dudes around 13-15 years old. I though it was a great idea and I so want to be known with people asking me for autographs and I want to express myself in a different way. I just don't know how to get started especially since I live in Las Vegas which is nowhere near a whole bunch of agents or companies or whatever and I know my parents won't just drive to Cali for me to make a fool of myself trying to get noticed. Please help?

So Yahoo Answerers. Give me some answers on how to be anime or cartoon voice actress, please?

For one, I can tell you that most voice actors are not hounded for their autograph... They are unseen by the public unless they are already name stars before they go into the booth. There are classes for voice acting. The ones I know of are in LA.

These studios in Vegas offer 'voice' classes however they are most likely singing and not voice over. Couldn't hurt to ask:

Westside Academy of Performing Arts
2605 S. Decatur Blvd, Suite 215
Las Vegas, NV 89102
(702) 214-2777
Located near Sahara and Decatur, behind Red Robin. Offering musical theater classes for children ages 5 and up. Teens and adults have their own 10-week sessions. Also offering voice and dance instruction, including boys only dance classes.

Vegas City Artz
8450 W. Sahara, Suites 102-103
Las Vegas, NV 89117
(702) 248-0909
Located near Durango and Sahara. Offering 12-week "learn and perform" musical theater classes for children ages 8 to 16. A local performance is given at the end of each session. Also offering voice and dance instruction, including small class and private lessons.

Marianne
